As part of my facial contour technique (i.e. using darker and lighter shades, I have found a neat, easy little trick to make my Adam's apple less visible.

I put a dark shadow on the upper side and a light shade on the underside. It makes it almost disappear or at least, much less obvious.

It is using just an illusion, similar to the technique to contour the face with dark and little shades, to make my cheekbones more prominent. I also use a dark shade to lessen the ridges above my eyes.
